Cheesy Power 80’s Tracks!

You have to appreciate the unabashed drama-filled pop music of the 80’s.  The synthetic soundscapes, the desperation, the power chords … it was a time of grand emotions, and grander shoulder pads.

Had to give a shout out to a few tracks that made me smile yesterday . . .

What more in the name of love?  Really though.  Can you think of anything better?

Beam me up, Starship

OK, so this was technically released in 1976 . . . but the cheese factor is so inspiring it pretty much falls into the “timeless” category at this point.

I swear I sang this at karaoke way before the show Glee came around 🙂

And the dance sequence in this video had me giggling all morning.  I had to share it.
